Tamara’s Treasure: a mid 1990’s cape with loads of history. The property is in 3 parcels and was the home to the Old Grigsby Store and corn crib. After the last sale, in 1960, the crib and store were converted to Country Squire Antiques with the house to follow years later. Presently, the buildings remain along with an old barn all overlooking the lower pond. The views are wonderful from the upper lot, with views of both ponds and the mountains, and very good from the house. And yes, there are two ponds! The house has a classic floor plan with a primary suite on the main floor along with the washer and drier hook-ups so single level living, with only minor steps to enter the house, is at hand. If one wanted, an open floor plan could be created. The room sizes are generous without being cavernous and sliding doors abound to maximize the outdoor views and access. The feel of the house is one of light and bright. The kitchen has new stainless appliances which have never been used. The woodburning fireplace hasn’t been used in years and is a lovely focal point in the living room and visible from the dining area. The front porch is perfect for watching the sun set over the mountain and the deer and other animals visiting the pond. The
